Pretty Little Liars spin-off The Perfectionists is bringing a bit of the Upper East Side to the town of Beacon Heights by bringing Gossip Girl stand-out Kelly Rutherford on board as another family matriarch.
Lily van der Woodsen, meet Clarie Hotchkiss.
According to Deadline, Kelly will be playing Claire, the matriarch of the Hotchkiss family and the co-founder of Hotchkiss Industries and Beacon Heights University.
The character synopsis adds that Claire believes perfection is attainable, and that it's the person who's pulling the strings behind the scenes that gets what she wants.
Kelly's casting was announced in a recent wave of casting confirmations that completes the main cast of the series.
Alongside Pretty Little Liars stars Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish, as well as the recently-announced Sofia Carson, The Perfectionists will also be starring Sydney Park, Eli Brown and Hayley Erin.
According to the announcements, Sofia, Sydney and Eli will form the main trio of the 'perfectionists' as Ava, Caitlin and Dylan respectively.
Caitlin (Sydney Park) is described as smart and driven and the perfect daughter of two perfect mothers who hopes to following in the footsteps of her mother's political career, while Dylan (Eli Brown) is a gifted cellist with a need to always be the best, with his two passions being music and his boyfriend, Andrew.
Also joining the cast is Hayley Erin in an as-yet unnamed role. As if there weren't enough secrets surrounding this project already.
