Primark shoppers say its £3.50 perfumes are 'exactly like' Sol De Janeiro

Primark customers are raving about the store's budget perfumes, which they claim smell 'just like' luxury brand Sol De Janeiro.

Shoppers have found £3 bottles of 'amazing-smelling' fragrances at Primark that are being compared to Sol De Janeiro. The high-end brand has gained popularity with its viral Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and has since become renowned for its range of perfumes.

The top-selling scents from Sol De Janeiro include Cheirosa 59 Delicia Drench, Cheirosa 87 Rio Radiance, and Brazilian Crush Cheirosa 68 Beija Flor perfume mists. They are available at retailers such as Boots, Look Fantastic, and Sephora, priced between £20 and £40.

Beauty bloggers and enthusiasts on platforms like TikTok have been singing praises for these fragrance mists. But because of their higher price tags, they can be too expensive for some.

For those looking to save some pennies, a shopper has recommended an 'amazing' and wallet-friendly alternative. Posting on the Facebook, Angie Latif advised fellow bargain hunters to check out Primark, reports Wales Online.

She posted: "I love Sol De Janeiro but they're as we know mega money. I've tried the HB [Home Bargains] ones, nice, they're good. But omgosh, the Primark dupe smells EXACTLY like Sol, esp the Pink, lasts ages too, only around £3."

Angie heaped compliments on her collection of sprays, which included Home Bargains' Glow Perfume Mist, Sol De Janeiro's range, and Primark's Body Mists, in a post accompanied by pictures.

At Primark, bargain lovers can nab its PS... Tropical Body Mists for just £3.50 per 100ml bottle, giving fans of Sol De Janeiro savings of over £16. Their bold orange edition is dubbed Maldives Sunset, the light pink variant is named Hawaii Paradise, and the blue alternative is coined Capri Breeze.

Describing the fragrant body mists at the budget price of £3.50, Primark said: "Transport your skin to tropical shores with our delightful smelling body mist... This mist will scent your skin with its flower and musk scent, reminiscent of warmer weather."
