Prince George's royal classmate at school has famous mum you may recognise
Prince George has matured into a self-assured young lad who frequently joins his parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton, on official royal engagements.
The 11-year-old is currently enjoying his summer holidays. He attends Lambrook School in Berkshire with his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
The royal trio are relatively new to the school, having previously attended the independent Thomas' School in Battersea, which costs £17,600 per year.
The Wales family moved from London to Windsor to be closer to the King, prompting the change in schools.
Despite being the future King, Prince George is treated just like any other child at the school, according to the Mirror.
At his previous school, classes were small, with around 20 children each. Interestingly, Prince George wasn't the only royal in his class.
One of his classmates was Maud Windsor, a distant relative and eldest daughter of Lord Frederick Windsor, also known as Lord Freddie.
Lord Freddie's father is Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen's cousin, and Maud's mother is a successful Hollywood actress.
Sophie Winkelman, now also known as Lady Frederick Windsor, is a British actress best known for her role as Big Suze in Peep Show.
She has also appeared in The Palace and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and is the sister of TV presenter Claudia Winkleman.
Her daughter Maud was born in August 2013, just a month after Prince George, and both children began their education at Thomas' on the same day in September last year.
The couple exchanged vows back in 2009 at the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court, south-west London. Despite the absence of the Queen and then Prince Charles from their big day, it was still a star-studded event with a host of celebrity guests.
