Only working royals usually get birthday wishes on official platforms. The last time Prince Harry received a public birthday message from the official Royal family account was back in 2021 when Queen Elizabeth II was still alive. The Prince and Princess of Wales' account last publicly sent him birthday wishes in the same year.

Harry has been embroiled in a feud with his father King Charles and brother since he and wife Meghan Markle quit as working Royals in 2020. The fued was further fuelled by Harry's bombshell Netflix series, memoir Spare and the couple's sit down interview with Oprah Winfrey in the US.

The once close brothers are now estranged, which was highlighted by the pair reportedly not talking when they attended a funeral last month. Previous reporters suggested they had not spoken since the late Queen's death.

Sources close to the Sussexes claimed that Harry's calls to his dad are going unanswered as Harry tries to discuss his security arrangements with his father. The Duke has been embroiled in a long-running battle over his security when he comes to the UK after he automatically lost the right to his police protection when he stepped down as a working royal, reports the Mirror.

Despite losing court battles to have this security reinstated for himself, Meghan, and their children, and now preparing for an appeal, PEOPLE magazine reports that Harry believes his father could intervene on his behalf. However, a palace source has refuted these claims, labelling them as "wholly inaccurate".

Adding to the narrative, a friend of Harry's disclosed to the magazine: "He gets 'unavailable right now'. His calls go unanswered. He has tried to reach out about the King's health, but those calls go unanswered too."

Amidst these strained family dynamics, Harry remains optimistic about the future,. He conveyed to the BBC his excitement for the next decade and how fatherhood has instilled in him a deeper commitment to making "this world a better place".

Over the last decade, Harry and his wife Meghan have left their roles as senior royals and relocated to the US in search of financial independence and personal freedom.

Now settled in the star-studded neighbourhood of Montecito, California, they've carved out a new existence with their young children, Archie and Lilibet.

In a conversation with the BBC, Harry expressed his outlook on life, saying: "I was anxious about 30, I'm excited about 40. Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life, as well as sharpening my focus in all my work. Being a dad is one of life's greatest joys and has only made me more driven and more committed to making this world a better place. Bring on the next decade."
