The duke and duchess will appear along with other famous faces including Trevor Noah, Sandra Oh, and John Legend. High-profile artists like The Weeknd, Halsey, and Jennifer Hudson will perform. The full list of icons, titans, and pioneers will simultaneously go live on TIME's website when the special airs at 10 p.m. ET on September 22.

The special will reportedly reveal the full TIME100 list in "an entertainment-filled inside look at the leaders, creators and everyday heroes comprising the 2020 list ahead of its TIME print debut," as well as take an analytical look at the "extraordinariness of this year."

Though the Sussexes have made a slew of virtual appearances amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the TIME100 special will be their first joint televised appearance since stepping away from royal life.
