Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s private wedding pictures are leaked online

Private wedding pictures from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding have been leaked on social media after the official photographer’s computer was hacked.

Hundreds of pictures taken by aristocrat Alexi Lubomirski during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in May 2018 were taken in the hack, according to The Sun.

A security probe was reportedly launched at Kensington Palace to shut down the leak.

Officials told the newspaper the situation "has been contained".

The pictures, which were leaked to Twitter and Instagram, are said to include some which show Harry hugging Meghan with his eyes closed as she is seen beaming at the camera.

The hack is thought to have taken place in September, but the pictures only emerged this month.

Only three wedding pictures were released by Mr Lubomirski, a fashion and celebrity photographer who has previously worked with Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex first chose Mr Lubomirski to take their engagement pictures in December 2017, before asking him back to take pictures at Windsor Castle.

Describing the initial engagement shoot, he said: “Every time Harry or Meghan would talk, one would look at the other and there would be this little sparkle, this little giggle, a little nudge of the elbow and it was so cute. They get in their own little world.”

Mr Lubomirski is a descendant of an influential Polish family who received the hereditary title of prince of the Holy Roman Empire from Emperor Ferdinand III.

He has the title His Serene Highness Prince Alexi Lubomirski.
