Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly hired Brangelina’s former bodyguards.
The royal couple just moved to Los Angeles with their son, Archie.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just relocated from Canada to Los Angeles to start their new life away from senior royal duties, and naturally, they’re gonna need security. Just ask Donald Trump, he has a lot of opinions on the whole thing!
According to Daily Mail, the duke and duchess are hiring “former SAS soldiers to replace their Scotland Yard bodyguards” and chose from a shortlist of two companies that have some pretty major clients. Including former couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Not to mention freakin’ Madonna.
So, whomst is paying for this fancy new security detail? A source tells Daily Mail that...
“Charles has agreed to pay a ‘private contribution’ to the Sussexes. It will not be revealed how much and what that is used for, but it is believed to be around £2 million. It would not be a surprise if it went into meeting the bill for security. However, the Prince of Wales does not have an infinite amount of money. The total income from the Duchy of Cornwall is annually around £21 million.”
Obviously, Meghan and Harry need protection as extremely public figures, not to mention members of the royal family! Glad this all worked out.
