Prince William and Kate celebrate St Patrick’s Day

Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, honoured the 1st Battalion of the Irish Guards on Ireland’s national day, St Patrick’s Day (March 17), handing out shamrocks to the soldiers and the regimental mascot – an Irish wolfhound.

The ceremony and following parade took place in Hounslow, on the outskirts of London.
