Prince William teases Kate Middleton over her kitchen skills again
Kate Middleton was teased by Prince William over her bread slicing skills on Wednesday when the couple visited the Centrepoint homelessness service in South Yorkshire.
As the pair made lunch for young people who have been helped by the charity, the Duchess sliced some bread and joked: ‘Don't look at how evenly I cut it. I think I cut some rather big slices.’
The Duke, who was stirring soup, laughed: ‘Don't be put off by the size of Catherine's bread. They’re enough to wedge the door.’

It’s not the first time William has poked fun at his wife’s culinary skills. In 2016, he told a group of chefs that her home cooking is what kept him so slim.
The Cambridges were guests of honour at a dinner prepared by five Michelin-starred chefs Houghton Hall in Norfolk when Kate said: ‘William has to put up with my cooking most of the time.'
William added: ‘It’s the reason I'm so skinny.’
Wednesday’s royal engagement in South Yorkshire coincided with Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, which saw Kate and William travel back to London for the future king’s private celebration at Buckingham Palace.
