The Cambridges recently returned from a family holiday in France
It's thought the family of four were away for just over seven days; they flew into the south-western airport of Pau-Pyrenees on 26 July on board an £8 million private plane owned by their family friend, the Duke of Westminster.
Very little is known about the private getaway, although French media reported that they spent at least one night at the five star Hotel de Palais on the seafront in Biarritz, where a basic room costs £422 a night.
William and Kate will soon travel much further afield when they head to Canada for an official overseas visit. Although the dates are yet to be confirmed, it's thought that the royals will travel to Canada in September – and royal watchers are hoping that the couple take their two children with them, marking the family of four's very first tour.
