Princess Diana's endearing nickname for Prince Harry resurfaces as his 40th birthday nears
The sweet nickname given to Prince Harry by his late mother Princess Diana has re-emerged, prompting fans to make the same observation.
Prince Harry will celebrate his 40th birthday on Sunday (September 15) and fans of the Royal Family will no doubt be sending their well-wishes. It is thought the Duke of Sussex may spend the big day with friends in Montecito, California, where he has lived since 2020.
Ahead of the big day fans have also recalled the adorable name the late People's Princess gave her son. A TikTok video shared by Tyla, a sister brand of LadBible, revealed Diana fondly referred to her younger son as 'My little Spencer' and royal followers feel the nickname couldn't be more fitting.

One commented: "He really is a full spencer! Spencer!! Diana definitely."
A second shared sentiments of admiration, noting: "His mother instilled love and kindness in their short time together.... They are both lovely human."
Further admiration came from another enthused fan: "'My little Spencer' definitely awesome" with a fourth sharing their respect saying: "I've huge respect for Harry definitely takes after his mum xx."
The news comes after a royal expert explained Harry likely wouldn't have imagined his life at 40. His estranged father, King Charles, and older brother Prince William will probably not see him on the day, despite having celebrated his 30th with him.
Royal biographer and editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward previously told the Mirror: "Harry would never have envisaged himself living in California 10 years ago. He was still dedicated to the military although his active career was ending."
"Harry celebrated his 30th with his mates at a grand dinner in Clarence House. His 40th will be in the sunshine of Montecito with a wife and two kids. He says he is happier now. We hope he is."
In a statement to the BBC, Harry said of his birthday: "Becoming a father of two incredibly kind and funny kids has given me a fresh perspective on life, as well as sharpening my focus in all my work. Being a dad is one of life's greatest joys and has only made me more driven and more committed to making this world a better place."
