Princess Eugenie shared an unseen picture from her wedding of a sweet moment with her dad

Princess Eugenie shared a private photo from her wedding day to honour her dad, Prince Andrew, on Father's Day.

The royal gave us a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes on the day she married Jack Brooksbank last year with a sweet snap of herself and her father embracing.

She shared the picture on Instagram, writing: 'Happy Father's Day to all fathers and of course to my Pups. Thank you for many years of happiness and for this special moment on 12th October 2018. @hrhthedukeofyork'

Followers loved seeing the sweet moment, with one writing: 'Love this photo. So sweet. Father and daughter. I loved this day. Beautiful couple, beautiful dress, beautiful bride ❤️😍💕'

Another added: 'Beautiful dress! Your dad looks so incredibly happy. What a wonderful moment to have and cherish forever. 💛'

The picture showed off Eugenie's dress, which was made especially to display her scoliosis scar at the top of her back.

'[It's] a lovely way to honour the people who looked after me and a way of standing up for young people who also go through this,' Eugenie said of the design choice. 'I think you can change the way beauty is, and you can show people your scars and I think it's really special to stand up for that.'
