It was their trip to the Norfolk beach that Eugenie said left the youngsters in tears after they had “the best time”. Speaking to HELLO magazine, she said: “We had the best time flopping around in the ocean.
“It was freezing, it was so fun. All the children were soaking and everyone was crying in the end.”
Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank share children August and Ernest. Beatrice has a daughter, Sienna, with Edoardo Mapelli, CambridgeshireLive reports.
Reminiscing about the trip, Eugenie continued: “We picked up all the shells and obviously the boys got their hands in the dirt and the sand. That memory brings so much joy.”
The spot is a favourite with Prince William and Princess Kate. The latter shared an image of William with son George and daughter Charlotte on the beach to mark Father's Day.
The image, taken by Kate, showed William with his arms around the children. It was captioned: “We love you, Papa. Happy Father's Day” followed by two red love hearts and the initials “G, C & L”.
