Private jet in emergency landing at Glasgow Airport after mid-air incident

A private jet has been forced to make an emergency landing in Glasgow.

The aircraft was travelling from Seattle to Rome when it was forced to divert to Glasgow Airport on Tuesday morning (October 1) following a mid-air emergency.

The distress call was issued by the NetJets flight while the plane was flying over Scotland, the Daily Record reports.

The nature of the mid-air incident and reason for the emergency landing is not currently known.
