Pro Green and Calvin Harris To Pen 'Happy' Break Up Track?

Fans of rapper Professor Green will be delighted to hear he’s up for writing a “banger” of a track with Calvin Harris about how “happy” they both are being newly single men.

The duo suffered similar embarrassment when the 32-year-old rapper’s wife Millie Mackintosh fled back to her former boyfriend after their marriage broke down and the DJ’s pop star lover Taylor Swift hooked up with actor Tom Hiddleston just two weeks after their split.

But neither music stars are down in the dumps about their failed relationships and Pro Green would like to release a hit song to prove it. When a fan of the Londoner tweeted him asking if he would hit the studio wit the Scottish DJ, 31, and write a “banger of a breakup song”, he had a great idea.

Kelly Brown penned: “Can @CalvinHarris and @professorgreen make a banger of a break up song together plz ”

To which he shot back: “@KellyBrownnnn @CalvinHarris about how happy we are?”

Other fans immediately backed the plan and said it would surely be a hit, with Pro Green’s chart topping lyrics and Calvin’s talents as a world famous producer.

Millie and Pro Green - aka Stephen Manderson - split in February after less than three years of marriage and received their decree nisi in just 30 seconds at a hearing at the Family Court in London in May.

Announcing their split in a statement, they said: “It is with sadness and regret that we confirm our separation. It is a mutual decision, we still care deeply about each other and would like it to be known that it is on amicable terms and we wish each other well.”

Despite their united front, it wasn’t long before Millie rekindled her romance with her ex-boyfriend and former ‘Made In Chelsea’ co-star Hugo, 30. However, Pro Green isn’t short of female attention and is often seen out with beautiful women including MTV presenter Laura Whitmore and singer Rita Ora.
