Probe launched as multiple cars set on fire near Glasgow

Multiple cars have been deliberately set on fire near Glasgow.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene in Clydebank to tackle the blaze on a number of vehicles.

The fires happened in the West Court, Littleholm Place area

Cops are now investigating the fires and treating them as wilful.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a number of cars on fire in West Court, Littleholm Place, Clydebank, around 2.35am on Wednesday, 26 January, 2022.

“The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service extinguished the fire safely. There were no reports of any injuries.

“The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.”
