A University of Denver law professor Tweeted a terrifying account of what seems to be a near-abduction by an Uber driver.

Nancy Leong said that the driver said he was going to ‘take her to a hotel’ and refused to unlock the doors – and she started screaming.

The car was on the way to the airport when the driver suddenly pulled off the road – and Leong was only able to escape by jumping out at a red light.

Leong wrote that the ‘driver was taking me to the airport. He said he was going to “take me to a hotel” and got off the highway. We got to a stop light. I started yelling “let me out of the f***ing car” and he wouldn’t unlock the doors.’

‘Then he got out of the car and started coming toward me. Remember we are at a stop light at the bottom of a highway off ramp. There’s nothing around. Thank god there were construction workers there.’

Leong has yet to file a report with Denver police, Fox31 reports, but Uber has suspended the driver and is investigating.
