Property Damaged in Tacoma as Protest Follows Police Car Incident

A fire was lit and property damaged during a protest in Tacoma, Washington, on January 24, the day after a police vehicle drove into a crowd of people.

This footage, shot by Brendan Gutenschwager and compiled by Storyful, shows the fire burning and also smashed windows, including of a bail bonds service. Two cars parked outside the Pierce County Jail were also damaged.

Tacoma Police arrested two people they said were armed with knives and a handgun after witnesses saw three people trying to access the roof of a secure building.
