Protester Injured After Being Carried on Hood of Police Car in Los Angeles

A man was injured in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 27, when he was carried along on the hood of a police car before falling to the ground during protests following the death of George Floyd.

Video captured of the May 27 incident shows the man being carried on the hood of a California Highway Patrol cruiser, before he falls.

TV footage from a different angle shows the man sitting on the car before falling heavily and lying motionless. The crowd then attacks a second CHP cruiser.

Subsequent video showed the man being taken away in an ambulance, giving supporters a thumbs-up signal.
