Pro-reform demonstrators gathered in central Bangkok on the evening of October 16, capping a third straight day of protests held in defiance of lockdown orders issued by the government.
Protesters congregated at the Pathumwan intersection, as seen in this video, after another location was blocked off by authorities. According to local reports, after this was filmed local authorities moved in to break up the gathering, firing water cannons.
