Protesters at Kensington Town Hall Demand Justice for Grenfell Fire Victims

Survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire disaster and other protesters gathered outside Kensington Town Hall in London on July 19 to demand justice for the victims and more support for the survivors.

Members of the community said that local council offices and town hall have been closed and “boarded up,” that aid from neighboring councils was refused, and people have not been rehoused.

“I know know that the people of Grenfell will always be two people,” said one local woman. “The people they were before the fire and the people they would be after the fire. A generation will never heal. We pass our pain on to the next generation, until we get justice.” Credit: Instagram/@story_and_her via Storyful
