Constituents protested outside a town hall meeting being held by Republican Rep. Steve Knight in Palmdale, California, on March 4, after “only a handful” of people were allowed in, according to the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).

A livestream of the meeting from inside Palmdale’s Chimbole Cultural Center appeared to show most of the seats occupied.

People both inside and outside the meetings were seeking to question Knight about the future of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, which President Donald Trump and the Republican Party have vowed to either repeal or replace. The SEIU tweeted that the protesters were refusing to leave the area until Knight committed to holding four more town hall meetings. Credit: Twitter/SEIU 721 via Storyful
