Proud Eagle Parents in West Virginia Welcome Second Newborn Chick

A pair of bald eagles in West Virginia welcomed their second chick into the world on Tuesday, March 28.

This footage, streamed live by the US Fish & Wildlife Service, shows the chick hatching, with one parent working quickly to feed the hungry chick.

The National Conservation Training Center’s Eagle Cam, stationed high up in a tree in near Shepherdstown, has been observing the lives of the two eagles named Bella and Smitty.
