While award ceremonies are wonderful for the people who win, they aren't as fun for those who lose out. Not only do you not win after getting all dressed up and travelling, you're expected to maintain a smile while having a camera pointed in your face.

That's why we feel for The Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith. The show lost the Factual Entertainment prize to Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs at the National Television Awards on Tuesday.

And whether Prue actually pulled a face or it was just a bad angle, her reaction was picked up on by tons of people watching on telly.

It could have been worse, though. John 'Boycie' Challis was seen shaking his head as his show Benidorm lost out to Car Share for the Comedy award.

Paul O'Grady actually spoke to Digital Spy backstage at the event and revealed us to that there was no way he would ever host Britain's Got Talent again, after he was originally meant to be fronting it.

Digital Spy have you got you covered for everything NTAs, from a live blog detailing all the biggest moments from the show, to a collection of all the red carpet looks, and a list of all the winners that will be updated as they are announced.
