PSG vs Manchester United: Champions League prediction, live stream, TV channel, team news, start time, results

Manchester United face their toughest Champions League group stage test in their first outing as they travel to last season's runners-up Paris Saint-Germain tonight.

United looked to make amends for a heavy home loss to Tottenham by putting four past Newcastle on Saturday, as PSG did the same away at Nimes.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's greatest triumph as United manager came at Parc des Princes, and heads there on Tuesday needing another win to hold off further questions over his future.

Date, time and venue

Paris Saint-Germain vs Manchester United is scheduled for an 8pm BST kick-off on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

The match will be played behind closed doors at Parc des Princes with no fans due to be present due to government guidelines regarding coronavirus.

How to watch

TV channel: The match will be televised live on BT Sport 2 and BT Sport Ultimate, with coverage starting from 7pm.

Live stream: BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Team news

Alex Telles could make his first start for the club, while fellow summer signing Donny van de Beek is also in line for the XI after a cameo against Newcastle.

Edinson Cavani can make his debut after completing his period of quarantine, and was pictured training at Carrington in United colours on Sunday.

Neymar has been confirmed as fit to start after skipping PSG's win on Friday night. He will partner Kylian Mbappe up front.

Prediction: PSG 2-0 Manchester United

PSG have too much in attack for most teams, and especially those who look as ropey at the back as United.

This should be fairly straightforward for the hosts.

Head to head (h2h) history and results

These two teams have met just twice before, the most recent match that 3-1 second-leg win for Manchester United in Paris to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.
