New Psycho ride at Hull Fair replaced due to 'delays in production'
A new ride that was set to make its debut at Hull Fair this Friday has been replaced by another due to "delays in its production".
On Monday, Hull City Council announced that two new rides - Starfighter and Psycho Ride - will be introduced to the much-anticipated fair, which is set to attract thousands to Walton Street over the coming fortnight.
However, a Council spokesperson has now confirmed that the Psycho ride will be replaced by another new ride, Project X, after the Psycho ride has experienced "delays in production".

A Hull City Council spokesperson said: “Hull Fair is preparing to showcase an exciting ride, new to the event, called Project X. This will replace the Psycho ride, which has experienced some delays in production.”
The event will return to Hull for its 730th year on Friday, October 4, at an earlier starting time of 4pm. It will run until Saturday, October 12 and will be closed on Sunday, October 6 in keeping with tradition.
Lord Mayor, Cllr Mark Collinson, said: “Over 700 years, the fair has only ever got bigger and better, still drawing in crowds from far and wide.
“It is one of the city’s longest traditions and something we all look forward to. As always, the Council has been working very closely with partners, including Humberside Police to ensure everyone enjoys their usual safe visits.
“I’m delighted to be officially opening this year’s fair and ringing the bell.”
