Pub in the Park launch drive-in garden party, with Kaiser Chiefs and Rick Astley on the bill

They’ve already announced a series of drive-in film screenings, and now the team behind Pub in the Park has announced a new tour of drive-in garden parties.

The new series will see guests park up to enjoy live music and food over a series of dates across the UK in September.

The focus is on live music, with performances and DJ sets from the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, Rick Astley, Groove Armada DJ Set, Soul II Soul, Scouting for Girls, Squeeze and Steve Harley.

As is usual for Pub in the Park, the food selection is pretty impressive too. Guests will also have a choice of dishes from five restaurants, including Michelin-starred chefs including Atul Kochhar, Paul Ainsworth and co-organiser Tom Kerridge.

The full list of dates is below.

• September 4-6: Temple Meadows, Henley

• September 11-13: Knebworth House, St Albans

• September 18-20: Eridge Park Estate, Tunbridge Wells

It comes after Pub on the Park were forced to postpone their usual non-socially distanced events until next year. Tom Kerridge said: “We remain committed to providing great food and drink events throughout these difficult and complicated times. But we’re also looking forward to returning to a full tour in 2021”.

It's the latest drive-in event to be taking place across the country, with film screenings, live gigs, comedy and even drag events happening across the UK.
