Pub site that been serving people for 800 years is on the market
A site on the Welsh border that has been welcoming guests for 800 years has gone on the market. The history of the Swan Inn in Pontfadog, Ceiriog Valley, dates back to the 13th century and the building has been in its current form since the early 1800s.
It has been extensively renovated by the current owners who have now placed the site on the market with estate agent Bowen.
The estate agent said: "An excellent opportunity to purchase a thriving country public house, benefiting from a traditional bar, restaurant and three en-suite letting rooms together with a separate living accommodation.
