Families across the North East can look forward to more Christmas magic this year, as the magical Puffin Billy train has been confirmed to be hitting the road again. And it's dates and locations for 2024 have already been announced.
A tradition many people grew up with and have since introduced their own children to, Puffin Billy, a replica of the famous Butlins road train, has been travelling all over the region for decades now and, having teased its return on Facebook at the weekend, as the team behind it, The North East Mobility Warehouse Ltd, said they were 'super busy' planning routes; the list of calling points for this Christmas has now been released.
There was a slight delay to the big announcement, due to a technical glitch, but the dates and locations were finally revealed on Monday, sparking a lot of excitement among people who'd been waiting to find out.
