Taking Scottish Halloween family fun back to its roots (for those of you who never tire of telling people that pumpkins are an American tradition anyway) this brand new neep patch is taking shape at Chatelherault Country Park in Lanarkshire.

Sessions will run in the morning and afternoon from Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14.

The firm say tickets, which can be bought here, are "a steal" at just £5 for adults and free for weans (under 11) so neep-picking hopefuls best be quick before they sell out, with all proceeds donated to STV Children’s Appeal.
