Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle goes on a bloody rampage in the explosive full trailer for The Punisher.
The Daredevil spin-off series sees Castle hunt down those responsible for the brutal murder of his family by the New York mob and, if you had any doubt, he will stop at nothing to do so going by this trailer.
Daredevil's Deborah Ann Woll also briefly pops up as Karen Page in the new trailer, with Castle also crossing paths with his troubled fellow former Special Forces member Billy Russo (Ben Barnes).
Despite the release of the new trailer, we're still no clearer as to when we can expect The Punisher to hit Netflix, except that it'll be at some point this year.
What we do know is that the series will be "as dark and as brutal" as anything we've seen in the Marvel world to date, at least according to Bernthal. "This season is much darker as it goes, it gets darker and darker and more visceral," he teased.
"The show takes you on this journey of Frank becoming more and more human again and then shutting off and shutting off and going back to what works for him, and the place where he kind of belongs, and I think that's a place of solitude and of darkness and destruction."
Bring it on.
