Purse and AirPods stolen from parked car in Bristol by people on bikes

Two people riding bikes stole a purse and AirPods from a parked car in Southmead. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV images of a man and a woman they would like to identify following the theft.

Police said the purse, which contained cash and banks cards, and the AirPods, were stolen from a car in Berry Hill Close at around 3.30pm on Tuesday, October 1. One of the bank cards was then used at a petrol station in Westbury-on-Trym the following night.

The man in the CCTV images was wearing a black coat with the hood up and black tracksuit bottoms. Meanwhile, the white woman was wearing a black bobble hat, a necklace, a blue facemask, a black zip-up hooded jumper and red trousers.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "If you recognise these people or have any other information which could help our investigation, please contact us. If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5224258662, or complete our online appeals form.
