Yahoo News Putin will rig UK election – says Gogglebox's Mary...
No-one is safe from politics talk in the current climate, and that includes everyone's favourite TV show about people watching TV shows.
Tonight's (April 28) episode of Gogglebox saw our armchair critics discuss Theresa May's calling of a General Election, and the strength of opposition leaders Jeremy Corbyn and Tim Farron.
While everyone was coming out with a level of political debate you would never see on Question Time, it was Mary (of Giles & Mary fame) who spoke the truth that everyone else was just too afraid to admit...
Vladimir Putin is going to rig the electronic vote in the UK's General Election and ensure Labour's Jeremy Corbyn wins by a landslide.
People on Twitter (the people watching people on the TV watch other people on the TV) called out our Mary, stating that the UK doesn't do electronic votes, and that her claim is, you know, barmy.

We can all laugh and roll our eyes and say 'oh, Mary!', but stranger things have happened in the last year. We'll refer you to this article in a few months' time, when we are all living under the rule of Putin x Corbyn, and we'll say 'Mary was right'.
