Qarabag manager Gurban Gurbanov has urged his team to 'fight' until the end when they host Chelsea in Baku on Wednesday.

Qarabag were thrashed 6-0 in their Champions League Group C game at Stamford Bridge in September, but recovered in the competition to hold Atletico Madrid to two draws home and away and only be beaten by Roma narrowly 2-1 at home.

Chelsea can qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League should they beat Qarabag on Wednesday, but Gurbanov said his team will go out in front of their fans and try and stop the Premier League holders from securing a victory.

"We are preparing for a tough match. It is an important match both for us and rival," he told reporters on Tuesday.

"We understand everything. We know the strength of our rival.

"We will try to fight on the field until the end. This is our last match in Baku."

Qarabag sit bottom of Group C with two points, one less than third-placed Atletico Madrid.

Meanwhile, Roma lead the group with eight points, one more than second-placed Chelsea.
