QPR manager Mark Warburton has warned his side they face a backlash from a wounded Sheffield Wednesday team.

Wednesday are still reeling after being thrashed 5-0 by Blackburn Rovers in their last home game.

Rangers go into Friday night's FA Cup fourth-round clash on a high after beating Leeds in the Championship last Saturday, but Warburton said: “Wednesday arrive here on the back of a really difficult home game against Blackburn.

"They will be keen to deliver a good performance.

“We have to apply ourselves really well. If not, you will get hurt.

“Their mindset will be to right a perceived wrong. They had a player [former QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo] sent off early against Blackburn which has not been rescinded.

"That sending-off changed the dynamic of the game and they will feel hard done by. They will come here keen to deliver a good performance."
