Quaint East Lothian hotel with accommodation hits the market following sudden closure
A quaint hotel in East Lothian is back on the market after closing suddenly earlier this year.
The Goblin Ha' hotel in Gifford suddenly closed at the end of September after it was taken over by new owners in May.
Named after one of Scotland's 'haunted' castles, the once-popular hotel was previously put on the market in September last year. Now the lease is up for sale once more for £20,000

The new owners would take over the East Lothian hotel and bar which is popular during the summer for its beer garden.
There are also seven en-suite letting rooms, a conservatory, and a function room. There is also substantial owners’ accommodation.
It is understood the hotel was refurbished earlier this year as Cornerstone Business Agents branded the site: "an iconic two storey, painted property".
The advert on Right Biz adds: 'Any new tenant must be demonstrably capable of fulfilling their obligations under the lease agreement and references will be requested without exception. A rental deposit of £15,000 is required."
The hotel is named after the ruined Yester Castle, located near Gifford village. The only remaining complete structure at the castle is the hall known as Goblin Ha' or Hobgoblin Ha'.
