QUAY x J.Lo: Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez create his & her sunglasses range

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are clearly head over heels in love right now.

Not only did the singer and her baseball player beau get engaged last month (J.Lo is now rocking a £3.8 million rock on her finger), but the inseparable duo has created a sunglasses range together.

The his-and-her collection is in collaboration with Quay, an affordable Australian brand which has been a long time favourite with A-listers, including Kylie Jenner, who has also designed a range with the label.

J.Lo and A-Rod's designs were recently revealed with Jenny from the Block designing the women's Quay x J.Lo styles, and the sportsman taking charge of creating the Quay x A-Rod menswear line.

The Quay x J.Lo eyewear line consists of six styles, each in the singer's signature oversized silhouette. Shapes vary from classic aviator to modern cat eye and from flashy lenses to metallic accents.

“Sunglasses have always been an important part of my wardrobe,” Lopez said in a statement. “I love how easy it is to change my mood by just putting on a pair of sunglasses. Self-expression and confidence are so important to me, and that powerful feeling you get when you put on a great pair of sunglasses is part of that.”

It seems the couple share a mutual adoration for large lenses, J.Lo explaining: "He [Rodriquez] loves sunglasses as much as I do”.

A-Rod's five silhouettes share the same luxe look and statement polarised lenses, but with a more laid back vibe.

Alex admits that it was his soon-to-be wife who introduced him to the stylish sunglasses. "She [J. Lo] was the one who introduced me to Quay Australia."

"I’ve never had a pair of sunglasses that fit so well and the fact that you can get high quality, polarized sunglasses for £38 is pretty great.”
