Sadly there's no news on when the Queen Charlotte spin-off will be released, but the good news is we now know filming has officially wrapped. In August 2022, five months after the prequel was announced, director Tom Verica wrote on Twitter, "That's a wrap. This production, this cast, this crew…just wait."

When the prequel was announced, it was revealed Golda Rosheuvel will be reprising her role of Queen Charlotte, and West End performer India Amarteifio will play her younger self. Netflix also confirmed some other fan favourites will play a part.

"Additionally, Lady Danbury @andoh_adjoa and Arsema Thomas as her younger self will also be participating in the social season, alongside none other than Ruth Gemmell as Lady Bridgerton and Corey Mylchreest as a young King George," they added. YES.
