An Australian snake catcher was called out to a home in Pinbarren, Queensland, on May 13 to remove a red-bellied black snake in the living room.
This video shared by local catcher Luke Huntley shows the snake, which he calls “beautiful,” coiled up in a dark corner.
The venomous reptile is one of the most common snakes in eastern Australia, where it is an indigenous species.
“Not a bad size at all. He’s pretty cute,” Huntley said. “I absolutely love red bellies. They’re my favorite snakes.” Credit: Luke Huntley via Storyful
