Queer Eye season 9 confirms Netflix release date
Queer Eye's season 9 release date has officially been confirmed, featuring the addition of a new cast member.
The Netflix makeover show is set to premiere on December 11 – just in time for Christmas. The arrival of the upcoming season was announced by star Jonathan Van Ness, who took to Instagram to share the news.
"We are so excited to introduce you to our amazing heroes & welcome to our Queer Eye family @jeramiahbrent. Viva Las Vegas Queens! Season 9 drops on December 11th," read the post.

Season 9 will see the return of Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski and Tan France as they welcome newcomer Jeremiah Brent into the Fab Five line-up.
The promotional post featured a vibrant, Las Vegas-themed image of the updated cast, posing with a large slot machine. Together, the team will transform the lives of a fresh group of individuals in Sin City.
Brent was announced as Queer Eye's new interior designer earlier this year, taking over from Bobby Berk after his exit from the show.

The former Queer Eye star had been on the show for eight seasons, and confirmed his departure in November 2023.
"It's with a heavy heart that I announce that season eight will be my final season on Queer Eye. It's not been an easy decision to be at peace with, but a necessary one," Berk wrote on Instagram.
"Although my journey with Queer Eye is over, my journey with you is not. You will be seeing more of me very soon. I love you all so so much and I'll meet you all in Nola for one final season."
Queer Eye airs on Netflix.
