Quentin Tarantino ‘confronts’ burglars after they break into Hollywood home

Quentin Tarantino reportedly fended off two burglars who broke into his Hollywood home.

The film director, whose credits include Pulp Fiction and Django Unchained, is said to have been resting at home on Sunday night when two men attempted to burgle him.

According to TMZ, law enforcement sources claimed Tarantino confronted the pair who fled after stealing his jewellery. Authorities are believed to be reviewing surveillance footage that will help identify the criminals.

Tarantino recently wrapped shooting his new film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which is a tale set against the backdrop of the Manson Family Murders in Los Angeles. It stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate. It's his first film since 2015's The Hateful Eight.

Just last month, he married Daniela Pick whom he met during the promotional tour for his 2009 film Inglourious Basterds.

Tarantino isn't the only one to have fallen victim to home invaders in recent months, with rappers Wiz Khalifa and Post Malone, as well as actor Bella Thorne, all having their properties burgled.

The LAPD has claimed they've since ascertained a list of potential targets, including Widows star Viola Davis and Matt Damon.
