Dalmatian-lovers and their dogs have been queuing up at a Covent Garden shop for a launch of a new Disney range.

A line of owners with the spotted dogs were pictured in Cath Kidston in the centre of the London on Thursday to celebrate the shop’s new collection.

The limited 101 Dalmatians-themed range features bags, accessories, homeware and fashion decorated with the spots and characters from the popular 1961 animated film.

The Disney X range features the classic illustrations of characters Pongo, Perdita and their puppies.

It was created to celebrate the artistry, design and heritage of both brands and customers can get their hands on the new pieces from Thursday.

The Shelton Street branch was decorated with dalmatian print as grinning shoppers browsed products.

Film 101 Dalmatians was released amid many of the Disney classics.

It was followed by The Sword in the Stone and The Jungle Book later in the 1960s and then the Aristocats and Robin Hood in the 1970s.

Designer Cath Kidston, 58, opened her first shop in Holland Park in London in 1993.

In the space of two decades she had expanded to more than 130 stores across the UK.
