Queue-jumping Audi causes crash at busy roundabout

Dashcam footage has captured the moment an impatient Audi driver caused a crash at a busy roundabout in the West Midlands.

In the video, a silver Audi A5 Sportback can be seen in the right-hand lane at a busy roundabout, with the road markings indicating that it is a right-turn only lane.

As the road clears, the Audi driver indicates their intentions last minute and suddenly decides to turn left. Unfortunately, a red Ford Focus going straight on at the roundabout ends up in the path of the Audi and clips the back of the car, causing it to spin out of control and into another innocent motorist driving a Volkswagen Polo.

The incident happened on Spon Lane South, Smethwick, West Bromwich.

The dashcam owner said they had previously seen the Audi speeding excessively in a 40mph zone just before the incidnet.

They said: "It was a typical case of "my car is better than yours" aggressive driving.

"People are always trying to queue jump on this particular roundabout and it is dangerous."
