Queuing Edinburgh Taylor Swift fans under siege from seagulls due to 'disgusting' litter

A horrified Taylor Swift fan has captured footage of seagulls swooping down on piles of rubbish that have been left behind by concert goers as they wait to enter the stadium.

Tens of thousands of fans have descended on Murrayfield Stadium for the opening night of Swift's UK Eras tour leg but it seems as though not everyone has cleaned up after themselves.

The fan claimed to have witnessed one girl being 's**t on' and said that everyone else was living in fear that they would be the birds' next victim.

They added that there was concern among some fans that the items could end up damaging the environment with one passerby saying they feel some of the debris could be collected and given to the homeless.

"Rubbish is strewn everywhere in the queuing section and piled up," one Swiftie said. "It looks like it is from people who had been waiting for hours earlier.

"It was disgusting! There were duvets, blankets, food, juice and empty bottles.

"Seagulls were hovering and diving down. One girl got s**t on and everyone was scared they were going to be next.

"Really concerning for the environment if it all goes into landfill. Another passerby suggested it should be collected and given to the homeless."
