Quiz! Can you tell between fact, legend or myth?

When it comes to myths and legends, you can take a fair guess for instance, that Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway was not, in fact, made by warring giants.

The story is just a myth.

But it’s not always so simple to tell the difference between myths (symbolic, traditional stories often about gods) and legends (which tend to be based on real figures).

As an example of a legend, King Alfred was a real person, who reigned as King of the Anglo-Saxons –but the thing he’s most famous for, burning cakes, is a legend.

So can you spot the difference between facts, myths and legends?

(We know, the lines are sometimes blurred, but for the purposes of this quiz, myths are 100% fictional, legends are based on real people, and facts are just facts.)

Simply pick Fact, Legend or Myth in our 15-question multiple choice quiz. Good luck!
