Rag’N’Bone Man Breaks Chart Records With Debut Album

Three cheers for South East England’s latest musical wunderkind, Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, who’s debut album has gone straight to the top of the album charts.

Not only that, but 'Human’ also becomes the fastest-selling debut album by a male artist this decade – overtaking little-known acts such as Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith.

Pretty good, eh?

The Sussex-born singer, who this year bagged the BRITs Critics’ Choice Award, has seen his album outsell the rest of the Top 10 combined – with over 117,000 copies sold.

Speaking to Official Charts, Rag 'N’ Bone Man – real name Rory Graham – said he was blown away by the support: “A massive thank you for going out and buying my album, streaming it and making it such a success so quickly. It means the world to me. Number 1 album… smash!”

Only three other acts have sold more in one week since 2010, according to Official Charts: One Direction’s Up All Night sold 139,000, Rebecca Ferguson’s Heaven sold 128,0000 and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ sold 123,000.

Human also becomes the fastest-selling album of the past 12 months since David Bowie’s Blackstar album in 2016.

Congrats, lad!
