Rain From Tropical Storm Francine Soaks South Texas

Rain soaked southernmost areas of Texas on Monday, September 9, as Tropical Storm Francine strengthened in the Gulf of Mexico.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warned up to 6 inches of rain was expected in parts of Deep South Texas by Wednesday morning, with locally higher amounts up to 10 inches possible.
