Rainwater Pours Into Portuguese Train Station Amid Deadly Flooding

Floodwater swamped a train station in Amadora, a city in the Lisbon metropolitan area in Portugal, on Wednesday, December 7, as heavy rainfall led to at least one death.

Footage filmed by video creator Angollano shows people walking through floodwater covering the floor of Amadora train station.

The National Emergency Authority and Civil Protection said more than 100 people had to temporarily leave their homes in Amadora following the heavy rains, local media reported.
