Rak-Su ‘deny miming during X Factor live performance’ after viewer backlash

X Factor 2017 winners Rak-Su have reportedly denied miming during their live performance over the weekend.

The Watford boyband were forced to defend themselves after viewers accused the group of not singing new song I Want You To Freak live on Sunday night

Fans of the show slammed the group over claims they were “miming over the pre-recorded track”.

However, friends of the four-piece have blasted the allegations and confirmed the boys were singing live throughout the performance.

A source told the Sun: “The boys weren’t miming! They sang live the whole way through.”

Despite a swarm of critics, fans were quick to defend Rak-Su making it apparent that they “didn’t mime”.

One user wrote: “Am i the only one that could hear rak-su on txf? i didn’t hear no miming lmaoooo.” [sic]

Another commented: “Woah hold on they didn’t mime tonight OR on the show last year.”

A third added: “I was second row audience! You guys were brilliant."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Saw it live ! ..you was amazing !!"

The group, who rose to fame on the show, quickly became fan-favourites for their live performances and original songs each week.

Rak-Su were the first group in the show’s illustrious history to win with their own material and have released a number of singles since.
