Ralph Fiennes is returning to Liverpool after his sold-out run of Macbeth last year
Comic Con has announced Harry Potter star Ralph Fiennes as its latest guest. Comic Con returns to the Exhibition Centre from Saturday, November 9 to Sunday, November 10.
The actor is best known for his role as Lord Voldemort, the main antagonist in the Harry Potter films. Others may be familiar with his work in different projects including M in the James Bpnd movies, M. Gustave in The Grand Budapest Hotel, or his role in Schindler's List, where he played Amon Goeth.
The Oscar-nominated actor was in Liverpool last year, where he played Shakespeare's Macbeth at The Depot in Fairfield. Ralph Fiennes becomes the seventh Harry Potter actor to be announced at Comic Con 2024, following news of Mark Williams (Arthur Weasley), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) making an appearance at the Exhibition Centre.

Fans are thrilled with the announcement, with many taking to Facebook to express their excitement. One user said: "Now THAT is a headliner! Oh I love him so much. Been a huge fan all my life of everything he does. Thank you!"
Another commented: "Wow! Big name!!!!" A third wrote: " I was being good this year!!! God damn it, have my money. AGAIN!" Ralph will appear at both Saturday and Sunday events alongside Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp, Marvel's Sebastian Stan and Pretty Little Liars' Troian Bellisario.
